But I really think this is a perfect fit for the iq bell curve meme. There's soo much to performance that it's retarded to even say that. So much so that it becomes the unhelpful answer to a stupid question, once you understand what it takes to make motor go burrr.

You're stunned. The generator and motors are just an alternative to using a mechanical transmission which a lot of these trucks still use. The actual torque comes from the fucking 4000hp V20 quad turbo diesel.

I have a 2.5 literal NA 4 in my SUV and it's ok but it makes very little power below 3000 rpm despite the size of it. I wonder if the 1.6T hybrid would be better or worse considering that I do much of my driving on back roads and dirt roads and the battery would run out of juice quickly.
