My Mazda 3's battery died while I was out of town (2012 Skyactiv 2.0 Auto) and I tried to jump it, but the jump pack was also low on charge so it wouldn't turn over, so then I charged it with a tender and when I started it next the ABS and TCS lights came on and won't go away. I'm 99% sure the module is fine, but the computer freaked out due to low voltage and thinks something is wrong so it stored a code.

What is the cheapest/easiest way to reset the code? I know asking the dealershit will be a pain in the ass and they'll want to charge me a fortune and try to upsell me. If it's broke, fuck it, I'll just live with it, but I think it's fine so I want to reset the code so it will try to re-initialize. It's a beater car, so I'm not spending a lot of money on it, but I would invest in a good code reader if it's possible to update cost-effectively and works with a lot of cars.

BTW, the bootleg tricks don't work: pumping the gas 3 times didn't work, turning the wheel all the way to lock both ways didn't work, etc. Unless there is some detail of how to do those I missed.

You may just be able to unhook the negative battery terminal from the battery and then put your foot on the brake to discharge any remaining electrical charge in the system which includes any errors stored in the memory.

Maybe.

It’ll cost you nothing but time.

And the radio will ask for a code if it needs one to work.

Depends on the exact situation on the exact vehicle/engine. Too hammerred to go into detail. On some cars you can disconnect the battery and reset everything. Just get the $40 reader at vatozone.

Pretty sure any parts store will just do that for free.
All you need to do is clear codes, a OB2 Bluetooth device and the Torque app can be very useful.

If you're sure it's fine why not just keep driving it? Code should clear itself after the computer finds no faults in x cycles.
