For me itโ€™s front right since Iโ€™m driving nose first into a parking sport and the driving side is on the right in my country.

The badges on the front/rear fender should open up to reveal the charging port. Either that or the rear fender is ideal

it's sure as hell isn't rear left like it is on Teslas, at least not in LHD countries. Cables aren't hoses, you can't just make them longer, you have to make them longer AND thicker, and copper is expensive as fuck. Teslas' retardation alone forces those cables to be 2x the length and 3x the cost on parallel parking charger spots because they have to go all the way around the car for some retarded reason. Everyone else has it figured out, it's at worst in the middle to compromise between LHD and RHD models, but Tesla is stubborn, and understandably so since they have their own supercharger network where you exclusively back into spots.

Back passenger for me. If your garage is smaller then you can charge without creating a tripping hazard. And I've never seen one but if we ever get to a point where there's roadside charging points then obviously the port would need to be on the passenger side.

I agree with you otherwise that anywhere in the middle front or back is ideal because public chargers will filter the averagest of NPCs just like fuel pumps needing to be on the correct side destroys the female brain.

Do you think with it being front and center would too much road grime, rain, and other shit get below the door and fuck up the connectors?

Putting it in the rear also makes sense but you just know too many retards would complain about backing into a space or garage which is why so many EVs have it in a traditional gas nozzle location.

I'd like a charge port on the front and the rear so I could have the option of nose in or backing in, instead of being forced to pick one. Especially since angled parking like this is popular near me and someone with a rear charging port would have to back in against the flow of traffic to charge.

You're probably right, I don't like the idea of a rubber gasket being tasked to protect an expensive part when you could just put it in a better spot. Then again, EVs are disposable and junked after 15 years anyway so why not.

They also didn't get rich buying $500k cars that depreciate by 15% per year.
>yes some people actually drive their supercars
Odd, they're not buying EV supercars so whats your point? Ferarri deleted their EVs, Rimacs are sold to arab oil shieks, and I don't think anyone else bothered making one.
>literally yes (#10)
Oh yeah, Billionaires really love 50+ year old super luxury cars that require insane amounts of expensive maintenance. Great example.

Its not for theft protection, Jeremy. Its about wealthy people having class, when its appropriate you lower the Spirit of Ecstasy so as to avoid appearing ostentatious around the poors. You raise it to let your other wealthy pals at the country club you're aware of who you are.

you don't even know what you're talking about. it's not a button you push when you decide to raise it or lower it. its built into the car. if you grab the ornament it automatically retracts itself. it's literally theft protection.
