How would you fix this shitbox? What could they have done to fix this shitbox? If anything. I know the manufacturer was strapped for cash, but my god. They could still afford to do a visual makeover but not change any of the internals. Why did they keep doing that? It was a similar story later on with the state railways, modernize the visuals of the signaling and stations without fixing the old tracks.

increase power or reduce weight
fix ergonomics inside
