The 4C has been universally panned as a baby exotic car, on the other hand. Cheapest way to get a carbon monocoque thus far - the only legitimate, "universally panned" complaints were in the lack of storage space and lack of a manual transmission - just like the Alpine.

You'd have to be a dilettante collector type to own an Alpine in the US. but there are plenty of those so I'm sure they're out there.
At that price point I'd probably even take an Emira over a 110 and I'd take a Z06 over both of them.
