what were they thinking
Tiburon is sick. Tight, light, looks good and the delta v6 and beta i4 are both solid and can be made to make enough power that the cars fun. I'm partial to the old Elantra, Sonata and Grandeur sedans from the late 90s early 2000s but being in Australia I'd be insane to pick them over an AU XR6
>>28483407 (OP)No, you're just poor and have low expectations
The other AI thread shilling hyundai was "bumped" twice because the AI ran out of dialogue. How embarrassing.
>>28487458End of the line 2008 SE Tiburon with a six speed and 172 hp on tap for a seven second flat 0-60 and a 1/4 mile of 15.4 @ 91mph. That's close to being pretty good for the time.
Just imagine 200 hp and a sub 14 quarter and dropping that 0-60 to a 6.5 instead.
So close yet so far...
>>28487499>sub 14 quarter and dropping that 0-60 to a 6.5 instead.Cars like the 1st gen Toyobaru and V6 Challenger have a similar 0-60 and run a mid to high 14s 1/4 mile. You're not running 13s getting off the line that slow.
>>28487807The Mitsubishi 3000GT first through third series NON-turbo could run sub 14s and a 6 second 0-60 with a five speed and a 222 hp 3.0 24v engine. If a pigfat 3650 lb. car could do it, be damned if the 3075 lb. Tiburon could not. That car was made a whole ten years prior.
