What type of person buys an Alpha Romeo? They just look so gay and their name sucks.

Pitiable creatures. Mostly snowflakes (yuppies) making le quirky choice because they believe this makes them "interesting". Pro-tip: it doesnt. nobody cares.

As a sample of one I buy Italian cars out of habbit. I wouldn't buy German Japanese or American. I've driven a mixed bunch of those and for some reason they don't hit the spot.

I skipped on a 1000 buck roadworthy GTV6 15 years ago.
I also skipped a lot of other RWD Alfas and Fiats back in the day due to first being team USA, then team Germany.
Kinda regretting it now as all the cool Italians cost an arm and a leg.

Because they wanted a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but uhh well they couldn't afford those but they also couldn't drive a Fiat either because that would make them look poor.

There's currently a mint 147 in a rare color for £13k on pistonheads, tempting but I don't want to sell my bike for an unreliable Italian car I don't have space for. I hope they don't go stratospheric value-wise now.

Which when they half their value makes them cool as fuck.
You won't find me buying a cool car that will become rare and collectable in a few years.
No siree.

I know people who love Alfas love them for the petrol engines.

But the JTD is the best fuel preparation system for diesel ever engineered so far. It doesn't seem to break down at all.

I love Alfas. Invested in a bunch of used ones to sell them into parts. They're not selling. Besides a few quirks with a few of them, this was a terrible investment, since despite how much of them there is in my country, there's not much of a need for spare parts. I have a medium sized warehouse full of them.

And the wholesale aftermarket companies are selling less and less of the Alfa Romeo specific parts. Keeping less of them in cost which means, they are not making enough sales on them to keep them in stock.

It's a good, reliable car. Not perfect, but the myths about it are bullcrap.

I don't know how the new ones are, I can't afford them. The new Giulias and Giuliettas seem good. No clue about the Stelvio, is it even an Alfa at this point or a Dodge with a skin? This is a legitimate question.
