The local birds have chosen the driver's door of my grandmother's equinox as the designated berry eating picnic table (for some reason)

I got a finch or some other small bird like that a while ago. It just went for a high speed dive from the trees to the left, straight into the path of the car. Hit the grilles with a small thud, sending feathers flying everywhere. It fell under the car and wasn't moving when I could see it in the mirror. Must have died instantly.
It wasn't there when I came back from the store. Maybe a fox or some larger bird got a snack.

There was barely any blood on the car. I could see a few feathers in the radiator, but they seem to have fallen off at some point.

I found a bird behind my fender liner the other day. I hit one at least every few weeks.
