>>28487610I'm not talking about suspension height, my old K5 with a 4 inch lift has a similar roof height to a stock late model 1 ton. I'm talking about the depth from the floor to the bottom of the truck, which is over a foot on most modern full sized trucks, and for the Colorados I've been buying, is like 4 inches thicker on the second gen than the first gen.
And then everyone sets their seats to give themselves enough head room to wear a 10 gallon hat, despite the fact that modern headrests don't like you ride cowboy'd up anyways, and they end up looking like a little kid driving a school bus in an afterschool special or something. I've got a 2019 3500 at work, so I know you don't have to ride with a puerto rican lean, you are absolutely capable of looking like a grown man in a full size and having a decent sightline over the hood, but so many people, even people over 6 feet, set themselves up weirdly low in the cab of their trucks.
