That's because BMW uses i6 and nobody told them v6 exists

they could have put a v8 in it with a 6 speed, fanboys would have gooned over it and they still wouldn't sell

The Sauber F1 engineers did this car and it’s a really well done drive train in terms of going fast. But it needs sway bars and new wheels up front bc of the bicycle tires. Just not meant to go fast. I don’t even sneer at the 380hp. It’s the suspension and tires that kill it. Mid engine lightweight carbon fiber car is cool and I like them otherwise.

I do think the battery though makes this a $20k repair 10 years on. Shame, becuase they’re basically not worth owning and that’s just bad design by bmw.

Because BMW builds the Ultimate Depreciation Machine and these things are very eye-catching and exotic looking while also quickly dropping into the mid 5-figure range.
It really is a shame they didnt give it more power but it's still a great looking vehicle even with the soundcloud rapper association.
