Harley Davidson is a fashion and clothing company that also happens to sell wildly overpriced shitty motorcycles.

Nothing. In pure logical terms, Harleys are just about the worst bikes you can buy from a mainstream manufacturer. They're slower, heavier, less efficient, less reliable, etc. than anything else, and have been since before a lot of /o/'s parents were born. That's not the point, though. The one thing they do is make their riders feel cool, and they've managed to keep the brand alive for over a century just on the back of that.

Hey OP I drive the great gandaddy of the vulcans, the LTD. Great bikes but notorious for overheating, I always drove Yamahas back in the day

Anyway, harleys are for boomers and americans who are all about the brand names, give me a jap cruiser any day of the week

I have test ridden a bunch of harleys. I think they are clunky outdated and overpriced. I would rather have a tracer 9 gt plus or even the bmw s1000xr with all the bells and whistles over any harley and still have money left over. Bikes are supposed to be agile and responsive to your input. If I had a big garage that could fit alot of bikes like jay leno. I might have one harley. I'd get a bunch of triumphs before I get a single harley. Also harley riders tend to be fags.

These seemed awesome until I learned about the X pipes cracking. Doesn't seem like there's a fix short of re engineering the exhaust with a bunch of flex joints to account for engine shake. Great brakes, engine revs a bit higher than a Harley, more clearance, better stock suspension, etc.
