What's the weirdest cop encounter you ever had?

>driving through South Dakota to get home
>cop pulls me over for doing 67 in a 65
>immediately asks me to follow him into his car
>has me seated in his passenger seat while he writes up a warning ticket
>entire time he's doing this (very slowly) he's asking me what i'm doing in the area
>drug enforcement stickers all over his car and dash
>starts asking me if I have any drugs and what's in my car
>asks me if he brings a dog out if it'll find any drugs today
>after about 15m of this interrogation he finally hands me my warning ticket and tells me to watch my speed next time

I'm guessing the speed was just a reason to pull me over and he really was trying to sus out if i was a druggie. Mind you I was doing 2 over and just about every other mother fucker on this road before me was going at least 5-10+ over and passing me so nobody was going to speed limit around here

>he rips a U-turn and goes back to his spot
>think, "fuck this guy"
>I loop around to the main road again
>pass his speed trap again, same direction
>he follows again
>exit town, he fucks off again
>loop back again
>he's not on the main road, huh
>loop around and go down the town's other road
>spot him behind a church
>same shit happens again
>repeat 3-4 more times, eventually he lights me up
>pull over
>"you crossed the center line"
>"im preetty sure i didn't" (i didn't)
>maintain friendly, slightly sarcastic demeanor
>explain away my bizarre repetitive route, answer all their questions truthfully while omitting the fact that i was deliberately fucking with them

>having never been asked this before, say "yeah I got a nuclear bomb in the trunk"

>the 1 other smalltown PD officer shows up
>one field sobriety test and a bit of half-assed smalltalk later, they let me go
>they glare at me the entire time as i leave

I was sweating, as this RX7 had some pretty questionable mods I probably wasn't aware of.

>explain im taking my girlfriend's car to the mechanic

>proceed to have twenty minute convo on the side of the road about relationships
>no ticket or anything
I was very confused. He was a nice dude, hope he's doing well.

Rented a car last time I was in Burgerland and drove from NJ to Florida. Was pulled over about 20 miles south of Savannah

Rental cars are used as drug trafficking vehicles. You were on a drug route in a drug car that probably made the trip a dozen times and showed up as a drug car to be pulled over. That's why he didn't give a shit as soon as he realized you weren't from the US.

Georgia cops are notorious for being complete fucking dickheads for no apparent reason, their departments are overfunded and they are very well paid, but they like the shithead southern cop with aviators and a wide brimmed hat image so they all larp as "The Sheriff" out of a western. Honestly mostly good dudes just drink too much kool-aid I fear.

What's fucked up is I spent so long looking for that hospital building, I actually got out and asked the local cop, Chinese food in hand, where building D was. (He didn't know either)

one time when I was underage driving without a liscense I chicken charged an suv in an empty baseball feild parking lot WOT in my dads fucked up old 95 f150 4x4, I flew at him and turned the headlights on at the last 40 yards and went around him, before I got out of the parking lot he put hus blue lights on.
guy asked what the fuck i was doing and I explained I thought it was an suv full of kids smokin dope or dogging so I was gunna spook them shitless, I didn't realize at the time our city pd had 2009ish suburbans so it didnt look like a police car from 120 yards away at night.
somehow I didn't get in trouble for this but my mom had to drive the truck home.
