oil starvation from low oil - valve cover gasket, oil filter housing, pcv valve cleanout
VANOS failure - oil feed line, chain tensioner and guide, timing chain between cams
Overheating - flush block and radiator with hose, new pressure cap, dual electric fans
General - basic tuneup with NGK iridium plugs, fuel filter, air filter, serpentine belt and tensioner
Driveline - transmission service, differential service (had water in it)
Literally 2 weekends of work in the backyard on ramps and $400 in parts and premium fluids.
That car will now run until it's totalled, then I wanna throw on a 507 body kit and LS swap it.
