/o/, I need to get a new car (moving out of NYC cross-country and currently don't have a car b/c NYC), and I was hoping to get some advice.
My options are limited because I'm a very small person (4'11") and I have been looking at Consumer Reports as to what cars work well for someone my size (airbags need to be disabled and other minor work to accommodate me)
https://www.torquenews.com/1084/consumer-reports-best-cars-short-drivers-3-subaru-models-are-top-class
Based on this list I'm thinking either Subaru or a Porsche 911, which they say is the best car for very small people.
Your thoughts, /o/?

Post khazar milkers, now. If you do, I will refrain from antisemetic behavior for 6 calendar months.

Do you already know how to drive or are you buying the car with the intention of learning to drive? If you already know how, I would do a test drive on a model before buying it (you could always test drive one car and then end up buying somewhere else).

My mother is 4’10” and has daily’d a variety of normal cars
Right now she drives a Nissan pathfinder
She used to drive the small Cadillac crossover I forget the name, for years
For most of our childhood she had a dodge grand caravan
She also drives my fathers daily, a Cadillac Escalade, pretty often

There’s no reason to believe me on the internet but she also has never had a problem with any of my father’s cars, various sports cars as he built up his business, up to a Ferrari and a Bentley today

Meanwhile, my sister in law is 4’11”. She drives a Chevy Cruze. She has often driven my children around in my old Subaru forester, and also in my current Chevy traverse. Her husband has a Nissan versa which she also drives, and she used to drive all the same cars as my wife (her family’s cars), a Chrysler minivan, the model name I forget, and a Kia forte.

All this to say your height isn’t a problem, just drive the car. They both use a little cushion like off a kitchen chair, that’s it.
