Some car drivers dont know that lane splitting with motorcycle is legal. In some states lane splitting was first illegal, at that moment those car drivers used to be younger when they got their drivers license. Later when lane splitting was legalized those same car drivers have grown to older age and probably 60+ years old, never heard that lane splitting was legalized during their old age.

Sure then there some retards who dont care about law, they just block motorcyclists from lane splitting as part of jealousy or they thinks it immoral that motorcyclist can lane split legally while car driver cant.
All these assuming that blocking or ramming is intentional, not an accident where motorcyclist was hidden from car driver's view by the cars A,B,C,D pillars.

No. I don't care how good of reasoning you use. I don"t care how well you explain that it will not add a single second of drive time to anyone else in the lane.

Many, most even, drivers see it as cutting in line, thus unfair, and thus will get angry about it. And with our rates of untreated mental illness in this country, it's a matter of time before you get in a violent altercation with a crazy person.

Nobody has the time or money to shoot people trying to kill you with their car.

I let bikers through and give them exra room, but it is quite annoying when I am trying to change a lane and I have very short gaps to do so and then suddenly there's a biker lanesplitting in 70 mhp in bumper to bumper traffic rendering me unable to do so. In cases like this, if a car pulls out and mows down a biker, I think the biker is at fault and should offer an apology and pay for any damages to the car.
And in recent years I feel that bikers have morphed into the cyclist stereotype: gay, twinky, short temper, looking for trouble, rules for thee not for me.

Australian here. I've never had anyone intentionally block me from filtering but retards seem to be attracted to the lane marking like flies to shit.
As you can see in the video, when people are sitting in their lane properly I can breeze between them like it's nothing.
But you'll get same people who basically drive on the line, I'll never understand it.
