Those are fifty grand now, you get some Williams finishing under 10k in UK auctions still.
The V6 Clio puts me in mind of the 147 GTA as well

The Clio V6 is mid-engined, it's nothing like a 147.

Don't buy shitboxes like these, you're just paying for someone else's nostalgia. Buy a Ronin S8, check the gearbox isn't about to kill itself and thank me later

That Audi is actually a good proposition. V8 belt engine, nice styling, great interior and build quality. Aluminium frame as well. Plus, you can get one in the UK for around 5k so honestly not too much of an outlay

The mk2 is just kinda better in pretty much every way except for the box flares.
Their chassis are similar enough that you can put mk2 RS control arms on a mk1 to get a Williams-like wide track, and the F4R is a just plain better engine than the F7R in the Willy.

It's pre 2006 so tax is 430
How much tax does your car incur? Just out of interest. Seems like anything more than a 4 cylinder pits you in the 360-760 bracket instantly
