Haven't been in the lotus but I have a friend with a Ferrari F430; I doubt the lotus has significantly better blind spots.

It's the main reason I just couldn't own something like this. Buddy only really takes it out for events, or drives with other exotic owners. You can't leave it parked in public in confidence. He drove his younger brother to college once, left it unattended for max 1 hour, and someone keyed it.

Price isn't what attracts the tards, it's the badge and design. For this lotus, the syling screams "exotic".

It's a DCT that suits the car perfectly, it shifts instantly with a rough racecar feel. The 4C doesn't drive like a modern sportscar, it drives like an old exotic. It's stiff and noisy, the turbo lags a bit, the radio barely works, and the trunk cooks your luggage. They're underappreciated because they're too spartan for most modern drivers.
