As a kid, used to love making up imaginary budgets in my head and spending hours on car configurators wondering about what car I would get if I had the money. Nowadays I have the money to get a reasonable priced new car if I wanted to but I still love going through the configurators even as an adult.

The difference being that all the cool cars as kids probably would continue to exist as adults...
But any cool car now will probably get turned into an EV crossover like 5 years from now...
There's no point of even having a "dream car" anymore.
If you're 25 and your dream car is a corvette and you spend hours customizing what you want, guess what by the time youre 50 and can afford it they wont exist

Buy used faggot. If they did enough numbers, we'd still have them. People don't want them / too poor to own them.

>thread is about customizing the exact car you want
>Buy used
I would rather buy new than think about rummaging through the dumpster of the used market 30 years from now to find something that almost matches what i want

>they have more shades of colors in one single category than the entirety of american domestic manufacturing offers across their entire lineup
line the bean counters and mba's up against a wall and get rid of them.

I found most websites were trash. They don't give you pertinent information like horsepower or what transmission it fucking has. You get an interior view of the European spec that looks nothing like the North American model. You try and change the colour and it asks where you live so it can provide accurate pricing. It lists the cars in confusing categories.

As little as 6 years ago I had no problem with these websites. What happened that turned them into Flash Animation tier garbage?

I donโ€™t like configuring cars.
I want to pay as little as humanly possible
