These things can't be that bad to drive, right? Maybe they're surprisingly good driver's cars that just have a bad association with welfare recipients?

They're really bad. Not very responsive, it's a kinda loose feeling, the Neon it's (somewhat) based on is tight and responsive. And it's got an '00s cheap American interior. What I remember from renting one in the 00s is the awful turning radius, shit felt like a pontoon boat.

Op the only reason to buy one is to paint flames on it and look like a retard with a pompadour.

It's a Neon hatchback with styling that aged tremendously poorly. I'm sure almost all of them have hit the scrapyard by now.

Lmao no. They're FWD boats with body roll for days. Feels like driving a soggy couch.

I fucking wish that was the case. I still see 10+ of them a day. Pretty impressive for a car with a Chrysler tranny in the rust belt.

They have no acceleration, but I enjoyed owning one. They have lots of space for such a small car. Very practical as a general purpose car that you never need to do anything exciting with.

Neons and the SX 2.0's have been extinct for a while now. I haven't seen one of either of those in a while. PT's survived because most of their owners are old as fuck, don't drive a lot and take really good care of their vehicles.

They drive like any other dull economic. It just has poor styling.

Honestly commend Chrysler for at least trying to revive classic styling. More than most auto makers do.

I had one for a rental for about a week. I didn't hate it, but it was pretty meh. I'd take it over a a Malibu. I was surprised how bad the emmpeegees were. Like no better than my Grand Marquis.
