Yeah, the "i3" version or whatever they're going to call it has the awful, jellybean EV proportions. The regular next-gen 3 Series still has the proportions of a 3 Series, on the other hand.
IMO it's far better than the sniffer direction, and I actually see a bit more old school BMW design influencing the "neue klasse" styling direction.
Let's just wait until we see how disgustingly screen-laden the interior's going to be on the other hand, because you just know it'll be.
