Seriously for a second, why the fuck aren't we going all electric in the sports car scene? The sound of electric motors are so much better and the performance from electric traction motors is just insane. You could make quarter mile pulls at night and nobody would know you're out there. I'm so sick of ICE cars finding something expensive to break every 3 days. Not to mention I could juice the thing with my own solar power rather than being forced to buy Jewish gas from the pajeets from the Mobil station.

The thing with electric is that you're not winning much by slimming down the body. Old sportscars were cool because they baisically shrink-wrapped the car around the drivetrain and got lighter and smaller because of it, but electric cars get faster with more weight. There's a good reason Tesla shelved the Roadster- Plaid would be barely any slower than it, while being a lot more car. Before, pursuit of a cool car was a tradeoff, but in the EV era, it's at best masochism.
