Okay I'll take the bait and give you attention, that AMG One is an F1 engine through and through, it's an accomplishment that F1 engines last a full race, let alone 50k km.
Why not compare it to an euro taxispec diesel Mercedes reliability to properly grasp at straws?

one race is 200 miles, and they do around 200 extra miles of testing through the rest of the weekend.

1000 miles of racetrack is far more brutal for the car than 10000 miles of regular driving, if you ever take your amg one for regular driving that is

The Mercedes AMG One is the world's first production car to feature a genuine Formula 1 power unit. Not something just inspired by F1, but an actual adapted F1 engine derived from their championship-winning hybrid system.

Let's get real. F1 engines aren't built for longevity. They're engineered for maximum performance, often lasting just 1,000 to 2,000 kilometers (600 to 1,200 miles) under race conditions before needing a full rebuild. So the fact that Mercedes managed to offer 50,000 miles before a major overhaul in a street legal car is nothing short of a miraculous German engineering flex.

This isn't about Toyota level reliability. It's about bringing cutting edge motorsport technology to the road, and yes, it comes with exotic maintenance needs because it is exotic. That's the price of owning something with real Formula 1 DNA. Youโ€™re way too retarded to grasp what the Mercedes AMG One is actually about. Trying to understand it clearly isnโ€™t in your skill set.

Assuming they're all made to order and you don't view the car before buying it, can you actually request a different assembler if you're buying some fancy shit that puts name plates on there?

Wasn't the F50 engine developed from an F1 engine, not a straight F1 engine.
Same as the BMW S85 V10 used in the E60 M5 and E63 M6.

Nope. The F50 didnโ€™t use the exact engine from an F1 car โ€” just a pseudo version inspired by it. Only the Mercedes-AMG One uses the actual Formula 1 power unit, adapted directly from a championship-winning F1 car. Big difference.
