The 924 is NARP (Not a Real Porsche). How did shit get so bad that Porsche tried to force other models?

924 carrera gtr was a good looking car.
They really captured the zeitgeist of the design in the 944, which is just a fantastically functional sports car that still looks good today.
Their only real fault was that they couldnt be allowed to usurp the 911 (the font from which all profits flow).

Had a 944S way back and a Turbo that I sold two years ago, it's almost weird seeing one of the 16v engines filmed like this.

I still love the design but the cars can be a lot of work due the timing belt breaking or in my case losing 3 or 4 teeth.

yeah for sure, I mean the newest one is a 34 yr old car so shit is gonna break, need replacing and substitution since a lot of stuff is prob NLA.
I had a 924 back in the day and it was fun but shit constantly broke. Plus I always liked the widebody look of the 944s better. By the time I was in the market they were already getting pretty old though so yeah not happening.

The 944 is objectively a great sportscar, you're a retard who doesn't know shit if you think otherwise

same here, it's like an alternate reality t. 951 owner

besides the timing belt and water pump I've only done ac work on mine so far reliability wise. I did do a full coilover conversion so I could get fickle with my spring rates

lol. yeah the a/c never worked on my 924 either and I did a couple of water pumps myself.
I really love the 944 body style and talk up anyone at meets who has one but I already have 2 old classic cars now in the stable so that's about all the fun I can handle right now.
