>get oil change from shartmart after a year+ of ignoring it (manual says every 10 months so it's not *that* bad)
>decide to check under the hood to make sure they didn't accidentally unbolt the engine
>notice coolant tank is almost empty
>fill it up
>goes down a little overnight
>oh fug
>fill it up again
>goes down a little more the next day but not as much
>doesn't go down at all after that, and hasn't for a week now
>temperature gauge has never been abnormal at any point that I've noticed

how the hell do you "accidentally" unbolt an engine.

No itโ€™s probably just purging air (good thing)
Just keep an eye on the temps.

Just like how the last lube monkey forgot to screw down the oil filter.
>>28501530 (OP)
It's fine. You were just low on coolant.

Dudes at my Walmart are weird spergs that point and laugh at me whrnever I come in. Not sure why but they're literal lube monkeys so I don't see how they think they're above anyone.

Run it at high RPM (like 4000) and heater all the way up for a couple of minutes to bleed the air. Fill it back up, keep an eye on it for the next couple of drives.
Sounds like there's a shit ton of air in the system and they couldn't be bothered to bleed it.

Do you have coolant puddles under where you park? Do you have coolant in your oil? No? Then there's nothing to worry about

Last time I took my car in for a cheap oil change it came out with a very obvious and deliberate razor blade cut in the upper radiator hose. Never again. Death to all niggerfaggots.

Do your own oil changes so you 1. know it's actually done, and 2. don't end up with mystery shit oil and FRAM disintegrating cardboard engine death filters all done by the lowest GPA middle school dropout.
