Not. He is the much smarter than the stupid OP. Forced induction with gasoline engines is the stupid, unreliable technology that should have never been created. Turbocharged engines also require higher quality oils, more frequent oil changes than naturally aspirated engines. Twinturbos make things even more worse because when one turbo fails, it can easily cause oil circulation and oil starvation for the second turbo causing failure to both turbos. When turbo fails it always results to oil massive leakages into places where its never supposed to leak like into the engine combustion chambers, engine exhaust system(consequently clogs the catalytic converter), engine air intake(between the turbo and engine) etc... Sometimes even visible oil leak out through turbohousing.

He's not wrong though. The new Z should have been $35k, NA I6, lighter, and have a few options like better brakes, better suspension, and good stuff. Basically be a car for the sports car buyer between a BRZ/Miata and a Mustang. Theres literally no competition there.

Instead Nissan tried to regurgitate a 350z platform at $60k (before dealer markups that weren't common anyway) delivering a cheap car that performed worse than $60k competitors. It blows me away every time I see a nismo anything, its just a body kit for $15k
