I don't think the gt3 driver did anything wrong, but I wouldn't feel comfortable overtaking in that spot at that speed with the general public on track. It's just too risky between people with poor driving skills and zero spatial awareness.

That potato faced youtuber often does sphincter clinching overtakes like this and it's just a matter of time before a mega crash happens. Riding a motorcycle teaches you really quick not to take on more risk than prudent. Doesn't matter whose fault it is if your leg's come off.

that monke misha guy?
he did have a few serious crashes on track but I believe all of them were caused by either oil on track or car malfunctions.
but I agree, people show up at the ring in powerful cars on fucking all season tires and stuff like that.
No matter how good a driver you are, it’s the traffic that’s unpredictable and can ruin (end) your day

On tourist farten youre not even supposed to overtake unless they give a 100% CLEAR signal that they are letting you pass.
The porsche driver was at fault, he raped the bmw.

>yellow number plates
there is your problem

the UK drivers are the MOST retarded on the Nürburgring, by a LOT, followed closely by NL

they drive 1000 km to do 2 laps at full speed without any track knowledge, cant stick to any line, don't stick to any rule, endanger everybody and should be shot on the spot.

Nah it's 100% on the BMW.
The rule is to stay right unless you're passing, especially if you're going slow like the BMW. He clearly moved over to the right which signals he's letting the faster car go, then randomly went back to the left causing the collision. People rarely indicate during Touristenfahrten, you just move over

Its the quick section between Flugplatz and Schwedenkreuz. The track is straight-ish there, you don't have to follow a racing line and can go 2 wide at full speed.
The BMW driver was trying to follow an incorrect, exxagerated racing line while going slow, which is very retarded

communication is mostly done via the car's body language, so were you put it on the track. BMW moves right->I'm letting you go. It's as simple as that.
But the BMW driver was busy doing something else >>28503011 and the other car misread his weird driving style as normal behavior for a moment

None of this happens during Touristenfahrten, especially not while cornering. Just because you watched Nurburgring 24h this year doesn't mean regular people behave like professional race drivers.

This.
I hate how zoomers softened describing/ruling anything with adrenaline as a way to pad the realility that risk will always be there. A naive perspective to try and net zero death itself.

Just like everything else that went to shit it started with boomers and early Gen X handing out participation trophies. Millennials get blamed for that but we were just fucking kids at the time with 0 say in anything. Boomers are so fucking retarded it honestly hurts.

That's why cars are pigfat these days, so drivers can escape crashes at 160kph without injury.

um actually, you have no way of knowing that.
there's a lot of physics involved in crashes.

also everyone saying it was the BMW fault, it wasn't.
The BMW didn't indicate a pass by.

Porsche at fault.
There's no rule to let faster cars pass, in fact the rule is to not pass at all.
BMW was following a line, even if it was a garbage line, out in out for that first slight left and he was setting up to do it again at the next slight left.
RHD BMW so the porsche is in the blind spot the entire time.
Tries to floor it and sneak through without a clear signal BMW is letting him pass (everyone indicates for this).

Retard move by the BMW driver, but Porsche might technically be at fault because in TF you're responsible for making safe passes, and bmw didn't signal so he wouldn't know for sure if the guy noticed him.

Honestly there are a lot of noobs on that track, I'd be nervous as hell trying to go fast and make passes like that. When I was there I just cruised. Nobody winning prizes on tourist days, ain't worth it.

at least if misha did something like what the bmw did in OP's webm, he'd actually indicate left like he did when he threw that cadillac deville around the track. there was one bend where he did exactly that and a bmw behind him just held back till the caddy moved back to the left, and he gave the bmw a thankful thumbs up as he passed too.
and that's assuming he didn't just let the porsche past because he used his mirrors and saw him coming in hot.

Speaking of misha: he uploaded a video on his channel about both accidents.
He actually knows the GT3 RS guy, and he was on mishas channel before (in a lambo). Misha was even supposed to be driving with that guy as a passenger. Interesting stuff

BMW is partially at fault for not being aware of his surroundings
mostly on the Porsche for 'sending it'
