I’d take the 2 door every single time. Don’t care. Don’t like sedans, just get a crossover and give up at that point.
>>28503863The 8 coupe didn’t sell well, but the grande coupe does.
>it’s a sedan Yeah well it has frameles windows, 65/35 front to rear space, lower seating position, lower roof line etc etc. it’s a coupe with four doors.
The 8 was supposed it be part of a special black badges sub brand that was between rolls and BMW but with the EV flop in the 2010s it got cancelled and the 8 became a lazier product with less Rolls amenities in it, the sole hangover being the crystal shift knob.
Anyway it’s a got all the structural carbon fiber of a 7 series, double B suspension, and huge hp. It stops from 100kmh about 4ft more than a hurrican. It had custom brake bias and traction control which was new when it launched and is more and more common.
It was priced to compete with the 911 and Ferrari and imo has value that a 6 didn’t have but that value isn’t present in the interior it’s in the actual build quality so nobody in the market really understood it.
They’re super easy to track as a beginner and they look awesome.
The rear seat is less usable than the 4 and prob the 2 as well bc it lacks that extended rearward roofline. Objectively one fo the best BMWs of the modern era. Needed a limited V12 run though. Shame on BMW for failing to get it through
