Do you like paddle shifters?

I wish my car had them all the time - I end up using the manual shifter on my automatic box and its really annoying to take your hand off the wheel to shift on the highway
I wish it could just figure out im on a steep winding road and keep the gears up - it DOES figure that out but only on pre-mapped highways and only somehow on uphill grades only
when it goes downhill it puts it up into 8th (highest) gear which is annoying and there's no way to get it to not do that even in "smart" mode which I have on all the time and otherwise gives me lots of revs - I assume it is programmed that way for fuel economy.
