The Kia Carnival is the single best choice for hearty American families.

I'd like to see a Carnival N with a turbo v6 and 340 hp
Koreans just have more to prove than nips do so they work harder.

that's an older design 3.3L engine, it would be cool to give the 3.5L a light pressure turbo - it doesn't need 400 hp - just 40-50 more than the regular and maybe some racier looking seats that come in red and a cool forest green metallic exterior and summer tires and the e-lsd from the Elantra N

Korean engines grenade themselves regularly, then the companies try to weasel out of the warranty. I'll just pay a little more and get something more reliable.

Can you show us some statistics that Korean cars nade themselves?

Haven't driven the Carnival but I travel for work and the Hyundai Sonata (every rental car company has tons of thes) worked just fine on every occasion. Much better to drive than the usual Malibu, Camry, Explorer, Jetta cars.

Korean cars "feel" good for the first like 100k miles then they fall apart faster than the Columbia space shuttle right as the warranty goes out

OP here. Am I stupid for noticing this? Am I supposed to hate KIA automatically? I looked at some reliability metrics recently and they were in top 5 in most cases (inb4 consumer reports are jews or some bs)

My Korean made home appliances are absolutely monsters in terms of reliability so I won't accept anti-korean racism as a sufficient argument here people.

I've been reading car mags since ever and it just feels like Koreans are trying the hardest. Also I had ridden in a bunch of Korean car ubers and they are always nicer interiors than Jap or American cars.
Koreans are improved Chinks.

yeah. it was common knowlege for decades to not buy cars with piano black in the interior because it only looks good in photos, and now kia migrated piano black to the exterior with no opt out

as much as i am inclined to look down on the gooks, it has to be said, at least they fucking try

>EVs will never be fun, they can't be manual
gooks make EVs with fake gears. not proper manual ones, but still

>all cars today are the same fucking blob
gooks make boxy cars, even EVs

if those slant-eyed riceniggers make a sports car with a flat plane crank NA v8, a manual tranny, and 80's wedge aesthetics, i might have to give them some of my money.

Kinda, it's probably the best out of three? Options... Not an abundance of minivans nowadays... Headroom is nonexistent BTW, especially with the dual sunroof option.

Didn't VW briefly sell the Eurovan in the US in the 90s/2000s? I don't think they ever sold the Sharan minivan in the US though so it's not a real risk. Porsche is VW for badge snobs. They are all spiritually front wheel drive.

Odyssey is slightly faster, yes, the engine is perhaps nicer and smoother, but the interior is way older and the tech and safety features are far less comprehensive. You cannot get reclining lounge chair second row seats on an Odyssey nor hands free driving and blind spot cameras with a feed in the instrument cluster.
Does the Odyssey even offer 360 cameras?

That will be more believable when older kias are less absurdly rare.
