I may have made a mistake. I was changing spark plugs on my 04 rx330 and the rubber retainer came off on a spark plug on the back of the engine. When I tried to force the socket back on to remove the plug and get the piece off it pushed the rubber over the 6 point of the spark plug and now I can't get the bitch out.

Put the extension back in the socket and gently rotate it until it comes free.

I got a back up hunk of shit to get to work in, just a weak water pump (tied into the timing chains) so even with the thermostat removed it will still run hotter than I like if traffic gets bad enough
