give it a good soak with some acetone, that'll clean the plastic right up. it evaporates quickly so it helps to soak a rag in it and keep rubbing until it's clean. probably take about 10-15 minutes.

I use waste oil from my changes to clean and heal my plastic
I am experimenting to see if it will reconstitute the worn rubber from my tyres
