Why is it so fun to eat and sleep in my car? It shouldn't.

Because you have too big and too comfortable car.

Do you want to swap on small hatchback ?

I really enjoy eating, relaxing and napping my car. I used to sleep in my car for lunch during work. Helped to recover from late nights out.

I've never slept in anything but beds, and even though I smoke, haven't lit up in my car for about 7 years, pretty seldom during the 20 years prior. Never ate in my cars, at least as far as I can remember.

How can you sleep in a car? Never managed to get a rest while in a layby

NTA but I have enough space to lay down completely flat and straight when I fold down the rear seats in my car. I've slept several times in it like this and it was comfy. I imagine having to curl up like in OP's pic rel isn't though.

I eat in my car all the time, and I especially enjoy eating in my van because that's what the TVs are for! And yet, even though the van has a bed in the back, I've never actually slept in either of them. I guess I've just never seen a point to doing it? It requires basically perfect weather or at least cold weather, too...
