Reversing lights allow rear vision and indicate your choice of direction.
What does flashy red thing mean other than red things flashing?

The funny thing is this was one of the rare times it wasn't intentional. That actually was the plate assigned to that car since it was new and they didn't see the plate 'til they were on set.

>I barged into the producer office and said "Wouldn't it be funny if we subtily reminded those Argentinians of that time we kicked their asses?"
>"Go on Clarkson, you've already told India to eat our muff. How much worse can it possibly go?"
>In fact, it went much worse.
>The joke, which I thought to be scalpel-sharp, turned out to have all the subtilety, of a sledgehammer.
>We got escorted out of the country with an angry mob screaming bloody murder behind our backs, and while I still thought the joke was funny, sparking an international conflict was not on my agenda that day.
>Thankfully, back then I worked at BBC, who had the power to pull some strings.
>A few calls later, and the crisis has been averted, by spoofing the records in the national vehicle registry. That Porsche has always been a 1991 car and not a 1993, and has always had the H982 FKL plate.
>God I miss that car.

>Argentina is where the Nazis ran to.
You were either American Nazi, a Russian Nazi or a dead one.
Jews apparently still want your dead add to mutilate.

The story never washed with me.
>we didn't know it had that plate when we bought it
Uh huh.
>we also did nothing about the plate upon receiving the car in Argentina, but we definitely didn't feign ignorance of the implication at all
Right.
>we did eventually replace the plate later on, but again we definitely didn't deliberately use the FKL plate for as long as possible
hmm.
>we definitely intended to perform that shit idea for car football using run-in RWD V8s instead of this not-manufactured drama (not only had they done the car football [and rugby] gimmick several times before already, those occasions used brand new FWDs and lots of protection due to the high amount of collisions)
They're never going to admit to it because the stunt was retarded and it makes them look retarded.
