Having the right balance of not being overly aggressive and dangerous but not being so risk averse you slow everyone down. Someone who doesn't make you slam on the brakes because they pulled in front of you from a stop sign with no space but also wont make you wait behind them for two minutes because they're too scared to pull in front of a car that's half a mile away.

This is why I always steer clear of young melanated drivers. Their ape like impulsiveness makes them too hard to predict.

Consistency. Low avg lap times even with fuel/tire management/ traffic. The ability to attack or defend off line at any corner. Smooth inputs.

1. no tailgating
2. signaling
3. doesn't fight for "spots" on the road
4. willing to go around slower traffic
5. able to adjust to changing road conditions
