So they can't break the nurburgring lap record can they? They probably dont even have an impressive time.
There's a reason why they're not telling us the laptime. If they could do it theyd be shouting it across every rooftop.
They hyped it up so much and it's just a disappointment.
Meanwhile ford quietly tested the mustang GTD after just trying to get a sub 7 time, did it, and got out.

Because it's expensive (very expensive) to rent the whole track yourself.

In addition, you still pay for : catering, hotels, cameramen , emergency services and even for the use of the name nurburgring in the name of the recorded

basically the nurburgring turned jewish once they realize manufacturers use the track as a proving grounds.

Pikes Peak should be the new proving grounds. longer with more elevation changes than the ring.

Surely this is the answer. GM is priced out, has to be! This is such a big problem for every multi-trillion dollar car company, we can't expect a little startup automaker like GM to be able to afford this.

Koenigsegg or pagani for example can't afford any official Nurburgring footage.

And I doubt that a Regera or one:1 would be slower than a Porsche 918 for example.

Yeah I'm sure General Motors is fretting the cost of renting the track for a day because they're so poor.

Even fucking Xiaomi could rent it out for their shit and set record laps. What is this headcanon cope that Germans are sabotaging or pricing out Americans for their track to gain lap time edges? How the fuck is it possible for GM to not be able to afford the ring when everyone else can?

What the fuck are you on about? Koenigsegg was on the ring multiple times for records, they just kept crashing, got a mid time or got fucked by a temporary speed limiter because of that one GTR crash. But that affect all supercars.
Pagani also has ring footage and still tests their car on there.
