Didn't happen. They didn't even enact rules or taxes to effectively ban them either.

Yep. Also the truck was in 2WD. Touaregs have real full time AWD with a 40/60 split (50/50 before '11) and even a rear lsd. I can't tell from the vid if the chevy had a locked rear or was doing a one-wheel-peel which would make the result even less surprising.
Still a mildly interesting video (that's been posted here over a decade), I wish I had watched it muted b/c of the bitch cackling at the end.

Yeah you can see the right rear tire spinning and smoking too.

The pickup driver says he's "locking it in" but doesn't roll very far after so it's possible the 4wd wasn't actually ready. There doesn't seem to be any activity from either front tire.

Well in the truckers defense having off roads makes passing slow pokes by taking the dirt path on the sides of the road a breeze!

Look in a mirror, pal. It takes more than just pressing the button to get the transfer case dog clutches and hub splines engaged.

Even gayer although my dad's front wheel assist kubota still has slack that has to be taken up before the front wheels start driving.
