That handling test someone posted the other day was really telling - it is very neutral at the limit.
Too bad they can't make something a bit more practical and pigfat that isn't electric.

If I didn't care so much about powersliding it would be a perfect 10/10.

If you want to minimize torque steer in a fwd car just ask Honda, they've all but eliminated it on their CTRs. It's in the front suspension geometry, not the rear axle. Also if your rear wheels are connected together such that they resist torque steer they'll also start to resist regular steering aka cause understeer. There's probably a reason nobdoy ever puts rear diffs in fwd cars anon. Also remind me again why exactly you think that this is what the A110 should have been?

It's harder to park a FWD car. There are few positives to a FWD over RWD:

Safer at the limit
Better MPG (very minor improvement with no driveshaft)
Safer in a head on collision at very high speed

All that for sacrificing fun, easier to park because longitudinal vs trannyverse, a comfier driving experience (push vs pull, the latter feeling nauseating to some people), no wheel hop, no torque steer, I could go on

they are cheap, you find them all the time in ultra-luxury cars
the elantra N has an e-lsd
>Also remind me again why exactly you think that this is what the A110 should have been?
cuz it barely sold any, is being replaced with EVs, and nobody is gonna pay 50k for a tiny impractical car with a 4 cyl

-Ultra luxury cars aren't front wheel drive you cretin.
-The Elantra N has an electronically controlled LSD in the FRONT.
-It barely sold because it's a lightweight sports car with limited appeal, -I don't think anyone was expecting it to shift a million units. By your logic should Porsche discontinue the small impractical 75k 4 cylinder Cayman because they sell less of those than they do Macans?

It's not the engine config btw, it's the CV joints. Even an AWD longitudinal mid engine car has the same issue.

the problem with the Phaeton was that it was based on a STEEL chassis so was absurdly heavy compared to the a8 - and thus slow and thirsty and didn't sell
