Why is there so much shilling about F1 across different industries and markets?

Liberty Media, who owns F1, is literally a marketing company. If there's gonna be one thing they're good at, it's shilling.

I went to a F1 race a couple years ago in Austin. The whole weekend. It was pretty underwhelming. They're so (relatively) quiet too.

The Masters Historic F1 cars that they brought out were significantly more interesting. I enjoyed that more than the F1 qualifying laps and race.
