What is the most reliable poorfag car out there? Talking 5k euros max
>>28523703 (OP)>honda Jazz with a stick, you can sometimes find cheap ones because people don't know there's a second set of spark plugs>Toyota Yaris or IQ >any Daihatsu, but they're very basic cars>any VAG SDI or a TDI from before common rail injection was introduced>if old diesels are not an option, any VAG product with the 1,4/1,6 NA petrol engineCondition matters a LOT though
There are some hopeless shitboxes (Like anything PSA) that should be avoided at any point, but also a lot of mediocre cars that will do just fine if they were looked after
Any Honda that fits your budget
the toyota Yaris and nothing else
>>28523772>any VAG product with the 1,4/1,6 NA petrol engineGotta be careful with these in cold climates, the PCV valve can freeze shut, cause oil pressure problems and fuck up the engine. I think there was a recall for it where they fitted heated ones.
>>28523772Toyota iQ is shockingly well-made for such a small car. However I remember them being sold alongside the 1st gen Aygo (Citroen C1/Peugeot 107), and nobody bought them, because they were 50% more expensive, for pretty much the same space (even though they were much more advanced, from a tech standpoint).
>>28523703 (OP)late production 1st gen Yaris hatchback with either the 1.0 or 1.5 engine.
If you are a bong you buy Mk6 Golf (1.6TDI, 1.9TDI, 2.0TDI) have jeet remove DPF Filter (gut it or remove it, up to you) and take out EGR Valve put in something to cover it and lastly remap the engine to "Stage 1" ((you can do both of these jobs at home except the remap))(((Here is your opportunity to remove them and just pipe through if you want le epic noisy car, kill yourself if you are this person))). 3-4k for the car (expect between 90k-115k miles for this price) and then spend remaining money on the aforementioned emissions cheats. If you are unlucky and previous owner was finance cheating muslim from northern UK town, you will need to spend between 750-1000 on repairs initially.
Congratulations you now own a mechanically sound golf that gets 60mpg whilst you do ANYTHING in it.
>epic small print: you have to get the MOT from a criminal now. the UK rules states any visible tampering with DPF/EGR = do not mot this car, however because that rule is literally retarded and not tampering with dpf/egr will kill your car (((((these parts are designed to kill your car))))) lots of UK Garages will give you a years MOT however some will not as there are still naive whites in the UK that play by the rules when there is literally no point.
>how do you know all this anon?
Had my epic work horse vwgolf for 9 years now. 240k miles. Want to buy another and do the process again but all by myself.
I couldn't glaze a car harder if I tried, nothing feels like these do
>>28525146>dieselyiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes
>>28525146>have jeet remove DPF Filter (gut it or remove it, up to you) and take out EGR Valve put in something to cover it and lastly remap the engine to "Stage 1" ((you can do both of these jobs at home except the remap)salam alaykum brother this does sound like a fatwah for a good car and it's a diesel so you can deliver kebabs on the cheap too mashallah
>>28523703 (OP)on a lot of places you can get the golf / audi a3 / skoda with the same 1.9 tdi engine for cheaper
when new those ibizas were cheaper than all those, nowadays people are asking more for them because theyre lighter so they have higher acceleration potential
