I just did my first DIY. I installed low beam lights. It was so easy. Car mechanic quoted me $300 so I bought $41 low beam lights from autozone and installed myself.

Labor for auto work is just really high given the circumstances. If you know how to do the basic stuff, it'll save you tons of money.

I just save the coupons for oil services though.
