I need help finding a part that seems impossible to find, transmission has been broken for a month and I have arrived nowhere in my search

manual 5 speed transmission for 2008 Saturn Astra XR

I know the Opel brand one will probably fit, but the shipping for it is so damn expensive that I am afraid to risk having to ship it back.

Damn, it looks like I need to take this one out myself.
Unfortunately getting a new car is out of the question.
I will have to see if I can find one that has already been taken out.

try car-part. I found a shitload of 5 speed manual astra transmissions in my state.
