My parent's 2013/14 CR-V started to consume a lot of oil, every oil change I would do on it and poured the old oil back into the old container I would see like at least 1qt is missing. Doing a u-turn will cause the oil pressure light to come on. I did not see any oil leaking and I did not see or smell any burnt smoke at the exhaust. It got into a rear end collision and it was totaled by my parents insurer, I couldn't do further investigation on my it was consuming so much oil.
That experience made me lower my rating of Honda as a reliable vehicle to own.

Probably the same seals that leak on every k24 engine including mine. The oil leaks down the back of the engine onto the exhaust piping and burns off, that's why you don't see it on the pavement or in the exhaust.

I've been adding oil to mine for 200k miles, seems reliable enough just need to add oil every 2k miles, or pay $500 to get it resealed.
