How far would dragsters fly if they had wings laike a plane but no prop so they would need to attain speed on the ground and fly until they lose it?

Best thread on the whole board right now. I want to know as well. How fast can they go before take off speed cuts off acceleration.

Not very far at all.
The vehicle accelerates to a speed where the wings can generate just enough lift to get it off the ground.
The moment the vehicle leaves the ground, the wheels can no longer accelerate the vehicle and the vehicle starts decelerating from drag.
Since the vehicle was only going barely fast enough to take off in the first place, the moment it comes off the ground and starts slowing down it will fall below the minimum lift amount again.

So in practice it would look like it's doing little bunny hops where it takes off, falls down, takes off, falls down, etc as it just kind of oscillates just above & below minimum lift speed.

It’d probably never hit takeoff speed. As soon as the wing generates any lift the wheels will spin

the spoiler creates a tremendous amount of downforce, it would simply need a mechanism to flip the spoiler upside once you hit takeoff speed.

Switching from large amounts of downforce to large amounts of upforce sounds like it would probably be pretty disastrous.

not when your goal is takeoff. Obviously it would need some pop out can

that would have been a non-issue if the front end had adjustable flaps
