What are some good classics and near classics (80s/early 90s) for daily driving? I'm not an expert but not a wrenchlet either, have some money, and have a more modern vehicle for backup/winter use. I'm looking for something that's reliable enough that I don't need to worry about it breaking down, has high parts availability, and is otherwise somewhat practical.

Off the top of my head, the NA Miata, 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird, VW Beetle, and Volvo 240 sound like they fit the bill. Any other suggestions?

only toyota/lexus can last that long without major maintenance
look into hilux or lad cruiser

cars, in general, are pretty useless for a daily driver. you'll want a pickup or suv.
