lol nice digits satan

thats your exhuast manifold, and that thing with the wire is one of your o2 sensors. When you run the car it might have a check engine light on because the computer can tell theres an exhaust leak. the car may run louder because, theres an exhuast leak. nothing is gonna blow up. it doesnt effect driveability or anything at all. But get it replaced eventually, same with that sensor if its gone bad, that way you can get those codes off the computer. If something actually bad happens to your car, you want that check engine light to flip on. If it's always on because of little shit like this, you wont know when you start throwing a cam position code because your timing chains stretched or some shit down the road

Bitch, just weld it up. Why go buy a new manifold if you don't have to? You do know how to weld, right?

You donโ€™t know how to weld if you think you can weld cast iron. Maybe a welder can but not you.

You'd have to take it off to put another one on anyways. AND you'd have to take the other one off at the junkyard. You're actually taking fewer manifolds off by repairing it.

Welder here.
"Cast iron" manifolds havent been a standard alloy since about 1950.
Manufacturers have been playing with formulas to get something that doesnt crack with heat cycles (OP is a fail).
GM had some pretty bad years, so did Ford.
>surprisingly Chrysler didn't have as many issues- ill bet you'll never see that in print again.
If you try to weld that with your harbor freight setup it will zipper 5 minutes after you get it up to operating temp.

For standard cast iron you need an oven to pre-heat and for a cool down cycle aftwr its welded.

For a manifold you need compatible filler for that particular manifold and the only way you know which it is is if you've done it successfully in the past...

Buy a manifold off ebay.
Nigger.

There will be no non-cracked manifolds in junkyards because they *all* cracked.

amazon header + EX cat swap. Get the right sensors too. Or make a custom cat pipe using a maganflow highflow 2.5 inch cat. The OEM shit, even magnaflow, is double walled and actually 1.75 inch ID.

Ironically JB weld would have a higher success rate.

There was a cool story about the guy who invented JB weld.
He went to Russia and met with some industrial CEOs. He took them to a quarry where there was a caterpillar that had a crack in the block at an oil passage and was just spewing out pressurized oil.
He cleaned and prepped the crack, applied the JB weld and invited them back the next day.
They fired up the cat and ran it for a couple hours with zero issues.
At that moment he became a God to russians.
