Of course it ain't a V8, they made like maybe a hundred of those at the very most.
It's a 1977 2nd series model I saved from the hohols.
Mate drove it to Lvov where we swapped plates, got it over the border and drove to Finland.
Fucking hohols had niggered the car up completely, it's going to be a long road restoring it back to its former glory.

Mercedes? No way in hell, the ZMZ-24 is its own thing.
It's very distantly related to the Ford AA truck engine than anything germoid, but it's not a ford clone or copy either.
Paid a grand for it.
