I put LED bulbs from eBay in my halogen housings. I also aimed them a bit higher so the beam reaches further. I do this because I need to be able to see at night.

I need high visibility for my safety. I don't care if you can see or not. It's not personal, I just value my safety over yours.

Simple as.

I put that stuff all over a shit box Corolla that I used to own.
The tape works crazy well.
No one would come even remotely close to my bumper after I put tape on it.

If your halogen bulbs are running dim and replacing them doesn't fix the issue, it's the wiring and you should never buy from that car brand again for using the cheap chinese söy wires. LEDs won't fix it either, the light will just be dim but more white colored. Had this issue with every Toyota I've owned and now just don't buy them.
