It's literally the same paint code. The reason why I didn't bring up the GR86 is because in the west it's part of a special edition that comes with the ugly ass bodykit and exhaust meaning you're paying hefty Goyota tax just for the yellow paint. And this is someone coming from someone who owns a GR. I'd rather get a yellow BRZ without all the tacked on bullshit, the duckbill, and Subaru dealers do order books instead of allocations to my knowledge. Gold brembos > red.

I am guessing so if it's a GT. It's not even close. The GT can pull on a CTR, which gaps this thing all day by car lengths, you are going down multiple classes in terms of straight-line performance.

Not as much of a build quality delta though, this is fairly shit and the mustang is fairly shit.

This thing needs a $20,000 I6 / nice interior package.

The sensation of speed is greatly increased with small low down cars like this, especially if they vibrate like all hell is about to come loose. Doing 150/160km/hr in a top down miata feels like you're doing 200km/hr in a normal car.

the only other car in the same price range with double wishbones in front is the mx5, and that's still $7K more than the 86 when comparably spec'd out, AND has two fewer seats
Anonymous No.28621683 [Report]
>>28621428
What specs? The drivetrain and performance in every Miata trim from 30k to 40k is practically identical, and 3k is all it takes to get an LSD and aero and brembos and chassis reinforcement and stiff shocks if you want that. The only reason to pay more is if you like leather seats or a hard top or not. You're getting everything that matters right from the get go.

You don't need huge power to spin the rear wheels on a rwd manual car

You should ensure that you have a proper differential - lsd, perhaps something even stronger than factory

Also, don't over tyre your car. You don't need to run super wide semi slicks

After that, all you need to do is driver mod. Understand the weight balance of the car, and/or smash that Handbrake and clutch pop
