I will not stand for this Avalanche/EXT slander. They're quite overhated and my first choice for GMT800/900 body styles. The midgate is cool as fuck. It can be a Suburban when you want covered in-cab storage, it can be a Silverado with a separated bed that you can hose out to carry dirty/smelly shit away from you, can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood while also fitting in your garage unlike a long bed pickup, and the open-air experience with all the windows down and the rear glass out feels great on a cool day.

You would think so, but to be honest I mostly get thumbs up and nice comments. EVs are popular mostly due to massive financial incentives from the government.
Even though new cars are like 98% EV's, the used car marked is booming, and people are getting rid of Teslas in favour of old diesel VW golfs etc.
I think EVs are in a bit of a pinch. On the one hand brand new ones are usually a bit too expensive if you're just looking for a commuter or beater. On the other hand people don't want to risk buying a used out of warranty one, as the battery can die on you leaving you with a 30K USD bill to get a new battery.
