Of course. USS Auctions, the largest auction house, no longer allows exporters/dealers to share higher quality photos with potential buyers, so you either pay someone with a dealer license to go on-site and take their own photos of the shitbox ($$$) or leave it up to someone else decide for you. Or just gamble. I got it for $3000 so I'm not too upset, but so far it looks like I'll need:
>new turbo o-rings to fix the leak
>probably need to catch up on maintenance (transmission fluid, maybe a serpentine belt, oil change & plugs)
I also want to put in a new battery and replace all the relays I can, just to be safe.
The first owner seemed to take good care of it until they sold it at 100,000km. The second owner replaced the water pump at 120,000km and the spark plugs, so they did at least some maintenance, and the tires are in relatively good shape and aren't cheap chink shit. But I guess they stopping giving a fuck about it at some point. Car made the ~300km drive to the city today so I'll get it looked at some more and then put on the new (used) winter tires later.
